About Stan

Stan Smith of StanSmith Copywriting has been doing freelance writing in one form or another for over twenty years: college and community newspaper news stories and columns, articles and book reviews for an international history magazine, mini-mysteries, and copywriting.

He's written a book on managing time and projects (The Sacred Rules of Management) and three books of Stanwick mini-mysteries (Five-Minute Whodunits, Five-Minute Crimebusters, Five-Minute Mini- Mysteries) that collectively have been published in ten languages. His mini-mysteries have also appeared in numerous anthologies. Stan still writes a FREE Monthly MysteryGram from his mini-mystery Website (www.stanwick-mini-mysteries.com).

Stan has a BA from Dartmouth and an MBA from Cornell. He also studied at London Business School as an exchange student. His "day job" experience includes banking, educational publishing, and municipal government, and he is a certified municipal treasurer in Massachusetts. He is now a home-based writer.

Stan and his wife, Julie, live in eastern Massachusetts with their two small children.
